To explain...
It all started this past March. I saw a girl int he psychology building at JMU who had this amazingly cute bag with a giant flower on the side. In love at first site I asked her where she got it, and she said a random street vendor in Philly. I was sad as I thought this meant I would probably never see it, so I didn't think anything more of it. Fast forward to June, I was in the city for the day signing the lease on my new apartment. After signing the lease I am about to get on the subway and I see a street vendor selling the exact same bag, but in an even better color! I got so excited but had no cash on me to buy it. I left frustrated, hoping I would see it again. I even made sure to have cash on me in case I saw it again. I did see it some few weeks later with a street vendor at the street fair we ran across, but alas I didn't have the cash that day!!!! So sad. I have come to realize that this bag only shows it's face when my wallet is empty.
Today I set out by myself and walked all around SoHo where there are always street vendors to look for it. There were indeed tons of street vendors but none of them were selling bags!! I was so desperate I even took the subway uptown to the spot I originally saw it when signing the lease and still no one selling bags!!
ARGHH. I need a new purse bu I don't want to buy one because I am holding out for this mythical bag that I will probably never find.
